Summary

As the thought leader and author of the CRAFT collaborative methodology and technical author of the British standards Institution (BSI) PAS 11000 framework the world’s first Collaborative business relationship standard and was appointed chairman of the BSI committee to develop the BS 11000 standard. He is one of the UK subject matter experts and is working with BSI on developing BS 11000 to become an International standard (ISO). His extensive career in projects and procurement within the construction industry spans over 40 years where he has been associated with the development and implementation of major projects in many parts of the world.

As the knowledge architect and driving force behind for the development of BS 11000 he is a leading promoter of collaborative working concepts and the development of extended enterprises. As a strategic thinker he has deployed collaborative business models to support service delivery, manufacturing, outsourcing and wide variety collaborative programmes. David’s previous roles include; President – Metso Minerals Systems, Procurement Director Mitsui Babcock, Contracts manager McDermott Engineering and Procurement Manager AREC.
